Product Description

Tulip Armchair is an iconic masterpiece of Mid-Century Modern design, created in 1957 by Finnish-American designer Eero Saarinen as part of the revolutionary Pedestal Collection. Saarinen aimed to eliminate the visual chaos of traditional four-legged furniture—what he called a “slum of legs”—redefining modern aesthetics with sculptural fluidity and a single pedestal base.

Evoking the graceful bloom of a tulip flower, the chair blends organic forms with industrial precision. The molded fiberglass-reinforced polyester (FRP) shell is durable, lightweight, and easy to clean. It is upholstered with high-resilience foam and premium velvet fabric for exceptional comfort and a soft, luxurious touch. The round metal base ensures stability and enables 360° swivel, combining functionality with modern elegance.

Dimensions: 630×630×800mm (W×D×H)

Materials: Fiberglass (FRP) + Velvet + High-resilience Foam

Style: Minimalist / Luxury / Art Deco

Applications: Living room, study, hotel lobby, commercial lounge
